The Cluj-Napoca Art Museum, a public institution which operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you to visit, between 9th-26th March 2023, the "Transparent Beings" photography exhibition of the artist Balla Árpád Zoltán.

Balla Árpád Zoltán is a photographic artist, born in Odorheiu Secuiesc in 1957. He began his studies at the Tamási Áron School, and later obtained a university degree in Brașov. Since 1975, he has been present on the photographic art scene, organizing numerous exhibitions. He is a member of the Association of Photographic Artists from Romania and a founding member of the Orbán Balázs Photography Club from Odorheiu Secuiesc. During his career, he whas recieved several awards, among which is that of the International Association of Photography.

From a thematic point of view, Balla Árpád Zoltán tackles a wide spectrum of issues and, through his creations, manages to offer a foray into the world of his subject, be it an object or a living being, through a clever method of capturing the essence of perspectives.

On the occasion of the opening at the Cluj-Napoca Art Museum, the artist’s book "Transparent Beings" will also be presented, which, in addition to the photographic reproductions, contains a series of letters and personal writings that try to offer a dual image of the act of photographic creation and of the human narrative. This complementarity brings us a volume that is a foray into the immaterial world of spirit and thought, with emphasis on the synergy of understanding the form and spirit of our world.
