Szabó Béla painting exhibition

The Art Museum in Cluj-Napoca, public cultural institution that operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you to visit, between February 8 and February 26, 2003, the painting exhibition of the artist Gy. Szabó Béla.

The present exhibition presents a series of paintings by the artist Gy. Szabó Béla (1905-1985), made in the fourth and fifth decades of the last century. Among the works exhibited at the art museum, you can find portraits and landscapes in the most varied forms. Gy. Szabó Béla is mostly known for his graphic and engraving works, which have become emblems of his artistic expression. During his live, he approached a wide range of themes. In more than six decades of activity, he organized numerous personal exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Romania and abroad. After the death of the artist, the legacy left behind by Gy. Szabó Béla was managed, cared for and presented to the public by Ferenczy Miklós, the custodian of this heritage.
