Opening
The Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with the Comparative Art Museum from Sângeorz-Băi and the Nod Cultural Association, invites the public to visit, between March 13-30, 2025, the sculpture exhibition "Way", which brings together works of the artists Maxim Dumitraș, Ioan Pop-Vereta, Marcel Stanciu, Florin Strejac and Constantin Țînteanu. The opening will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Opening words: Lucian Nastasă-Kovács, manager of the Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca, art critic Vasile Duda and Alin Ușeriu, manager of Via Transilvanica.
The five artists are presenting to the public their andesite sculptures which are not only an artistic statement, but a philosophic one. In their view, the shape and line of the art works are giving bodies to the ideas behind them. Their expression is a bridge between a symbolic eternity of the rock and a romantic approach, a real battle with the eternity represented by their effort to dominate and shape the heartless and cold stone.
