Xantus Géza. The Attraction of the Infinite

Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca invites the public, between 12th and 24th February 2020, to Xantus Géza`s exhibition, „The attraction of the infinite”.

The event opening will take place on 12th February 2020, at 6 p.m. The exhibition will be open by: Lucian Nastasă-Kovács, manager of the Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca; Németh Júlia, art critic and Iakob Attila, the curator of the.            

Xantus Géza was born on December 17th, 1958 in the city of Miercurea Ciuc. He started studying art in 1982 under the coordination of Antal Beczásy. In 1995 he obtained a BA in theology at Pázmány Péter Catholic University of Budapest. From 1999 to 2003 he continues studying arts in  Rome at the Academy of Fine Arts in the class of professor Nunzio Solendo. He is member in artists unions of  Romania and Hungary, and member of the Barabás Miklós artists association. During his career as artist, Xantus Géza participated at several solo exhibitions in Kiel, Helsinki, Budapesta, Roma, Gheorgheni, Târgu Mureș, Miercurea Ciuc, Timișoara, Arad, Oradea, Târgu Secuiesc and group exhibitions in Hong Kong, Torino, Saporro, Barcelona, Varșovia, Maastricht, Budapesta, Belgrad, Ostrów Wielkopolski, Rocca di Cave, Frascati, Miercurea Ciuc, Arad, Iași, București, Esztergom.
