“The exhibition «The Cruel Air of the Morning», initiated by the Research Center of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, brings to the forefront the emerging artistic expressions of a new generation of creators. Bringing together the artworks of 30 students from all departments of the institution, the event explores the technical and conceptual diversity of contemporary artistic practices. Through the collective involvement of students in the realization of all stages of the project (concept, poster, display and so on), the exhibition becomes a platform for visibility and artistic dialogue, emphasizing their creative potential in a dynamic in a dynamic interdisciplinary context.
The title of the exhibition is inspired by the poet Gellu Naum (1915-2001), one of the most influential voices of Romanian literary surrealism, and the artistic project proposes, in the spirit of the ideas of this movement, a playful reinterpretation of the exhibition space […]”.
