The Cluj-Napoca Art Museum, a public institution of county interest, which operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you to visit, between November 1st and 24th, 2024, the "Tache Bleue" exhibition, which brings together 16 works, donated in the last decade to the museum's heritage. Curator: Kis-Pállukács Hajnal.
By means of works made by established artists, selected from the donation fund of the Cluj-Napoca Art Museum, the "Tache Bleue" exhibition is designed to reveal through the selection of these works, ranging from figurative to non-figurative, the meanings and symbolism of the color blue. The selection of works reflects the metaphors and values most often associated with this color.
The color blue is ubiquitous. From it being the base color to the spot on which the eye of the beholder can stop for a second to rest, in these 16 works it is rendered and interpreted in as many ways. It is central or peripheral, it is tenderness or severity, gentleness or solemnity, rendered in strips and spots of color, lights and shadows. But it is present throughout this selection of works and its meaning can be discerned. We invite you to discover them!
Works of the following artists will be exhibited: Ammar ALNAHHAS, Dacian ANDONI, Ovidiu AVRAM, Tommy BARR, BENCSIK János, Constantin BLENDEA, FELEKI Szabolcs, Marius Dan GHENESCU, Stefan GNANDT, Gheorghe ILEA, KŐMÍVES Andor, KUDOR DUKA István, Ioan SBÂRCIU, SZÉKELY Annamária, Adrian TARȚA, Rodica TARȚA.
