71 Young Artists

Opening: May 28, 6 p.m.
May 28, 2026 - June 07, 2026

The Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca, a public institution of county interest operating under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you to visit the collective exhibition 71 Young Artists, coordinated and curated by visual artist Tatiana Alban, from May 28 to June 7. The opening reception will take place on May 28 at 6:00 PM.

Bringing together more than 100 works created by children and teenagers aged 4 to 17, the project offers a perspective on creativity as an authentic form of expression, observation, and visual exploration. The exhibition features works in graphic art, painting, and mixed media, creating a diverse visual journey in which the spontaneity, imagination, and sensitivity of each participant become part of a shared artistic dialogue. Beyond its educational component, 71 Young Artists aims to provide a genuine exhibition context for the visual practices of children and teenagers, within a professional environment that is thoughtfully designed and open to contemporary directions.

In addition to the main exhibition core, each edition also develops complementary artistic projects with an experimental and participatory character. This edition once again includes a surprise project developed in a coherent and contemporary direction, organically integrated into the overall discourse of the exhibition. 71 Young Artists thus becomes more than just an exhibition dedicated to young participants — it is a meeting space between artistic process, education, and the public, where creativity is regarded as a living form of reflection and visual communication.

We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and discover the visual worlds, sensitivity, and freedom of expression of these 71 young artists.
