Pulse of Life. International Photography Salon

The Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca, the Global Photographic Union (GPU) and the ArtImage Cluj-Napoca Association, invites the public to visit, between July 15 and August 2, 2026, the international photography salon "Pulse of Life". The opening will take place on July 15, 2026, from 17:00. Special guest: Tony Davis, board member GPU. Curator: Marija Milovanović, GPU general secretary.

Human life rarely takes the form of a single continuous story, but rather of a collection of short moments that gradually shape what we become. The "Pulse of Life" exhibition brings together photographs from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds, to explore these fragments of the human experience. Alternating between portraits, encounters, details, solitude and movement, each image captures a part of life – a fleeting moment in time. Born from different environments and perspectives, the images form a visual dialogue between individual lives and the continuous human experience, in which each photograph becomes a heartbeat in a larger story of humanity.

Presenting photographs taken by 69 photographers, the exhibition highlights both the uniqueness of each point of view and the subtle threads that connect people's lives beyond cultures and circumstances.
