Memoria Mundi reinterprets the historical tradition of the “cabinet of curiosities” from a contemporary perspective, reflecting on the fragility of cultural and biological survival in a time marked by multiple crises. The exhibition explores the relationship between memory, artefact, life and responsibility, proposing a symbolic mapping of the values that sustain civilization.
The works on display are understood as witnesses and survivors of time. Through fragile materials, symbolic objects and visual references to biodiversity and human empathy, the exhibition invites the viewer to move beyond passive contemplation and to assume the role of custodian. Memoria Mundi is both a reflection on what we have inherited and a manifesto on what we choose to preserve, calling for a renewed awareness of the world as a fragile heritage entrusted to our collective care.
